Our Policies

Purpose
All In Ideas is committed to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of its work. As a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation that supports artists, we recognise the importance of diverse perspectives and experiences in enriching both the arts and the communities we serve.

Our Commitment
We are dedicated to:

Fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels respected, valued, and supported.

Addressing discrimination and eliminating barriers to participation.

Encouraging representation and opportunities for individuals from all backgrounds, especially those who are underrepresented in the arts.

Scope
This policy applies to:

Staff, trustees, volunteers, and the artists with whom we work.

All activities encompass recruitment, programming, partnerships, and public engagement.

Principles

We uphold the values of the Equality Act 2010.

We strive to understand and dismantle structural inequalities.

We will regularly review and enhance our practices in consultation with diverse communities.

Implementation

EDI considerations will be incorporated into our planning, decision-making, and evaluation processes.

Training and resources will be provided to support inclusive practices.

The Board of Trustees will monitor progress on an annual basis.

Responsibility
Overall responsibility for this policy lies with the Board of Trustees. All individuals associated with All In Ideas share the responsibility of upholding its values.


At All In Ideas, we are committed to the principles of Fair Work as defined by the Scottish Government. We believe that fair work is the foundation of a thriving, creative, and inclusive arts sector.

Our Commitments:

Effective Voice.

We encourage open communication, feedback, and dialogue across all levels. Staff, freelancers, and collaborators are empowered to contribute to decisions that  affect their work.

Opportunity

We provide fair and inclusive access to work and development opportunities, supporting continuous learning and career growth in the arts.

Security

We offer transparent contracts and fair pay in line with industry standards (including Scottish Artist Union and Equity rates) and aim for predictable and sustainable working conditions.

Respect

We foster a culture of dignity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring that every individual is treated with respect and fairness.

Fulfilment

We support meaningful work by recognising the importance of creativity, collaboration, and individual contributions, fostering a supportive and inspiring work environment.


This policy applies to all staff, freelancers, and partners. We regularly review and update our practices to reflect our ongoing commitment to Fair Work.


PURPOSE

All In Ideas is committed to reducing its environmental impact and continually improving its environmental performance as an integral part of our activities. We aim to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility across all aspects of our work, operations, and community engagement.

SCOPE

This policy applies to all staff, trustees, artists, stakeholders and all parties responsible for the activities of All In Ideas.

OUR COMMITMENT

We will:

Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations in Scotland.

Incorporate environmental considerations into our planning and decision-making processes.

Promote environmental awareness and responsibility among our team and service users.

Seek to improve our environmental performance continually.

KEY AREAS OF FOCUS

We aim to reduce our environmental impact in the following ways:

Energy Use

Utilise energy-efficient lighting, heating, and appliances.

Monitor energy usage and minimise unnecessary consumption.

Consider renewable energy sources where possible.

Waste Reduction

Minimise waste by reusing and recycling materials when possible.

Reduce the use of single-use plastics and packaging.

Dispose of waste responsibly using proper recycling channels.

Travel and Transport

Encourage active travel (walking, cycling) and the use of public transport.

Promote virtual meetings to reduce travel where practical.

Support car-sharing and low-emission travel options for all parties involved in All In Ideas activities.

Procurement and Resources

Choose sustainable, ethically sourced, and locally produced goods where possible.

Work with suppliers and partners who share our environmental values.

Awareness and Training

Encourage and support environmental learning for staff, volunteers, and beneficiaries.

Promote environmental good practice in our communications and outreach.

Implementation and Review

The Board of Trustees is responsible for overseeing this policy and its implementation.

A designated sustainability lead may be appointed to monitor progress.

This policy will be reviewed annually, with actions updated as needed to reflect new opportunities and legislation.


STATEMENT

We believe environmental responsibility is essential to the long-term success and integrity of our mission. We are committed to doing our part to protect Scotland’s natural environment and contribute to a sustainable future.
